Our Story
After graduating high school, Ricky found work with a flooring company out of necessity, but quickly discovered his passion for the craft. While other installers focused on breaks and early departures, Ricky immersed himself in learning every aspect of tile installation. His relentless curiosity—constantly asking “Why are you doing it this way?” and “What benefits are there from doing it that way?”—drove him to find better, more efficient methods.
Ricky co-founded In Line Flooring in 2003, and within a few years his innovative installation methods revolutionized the industry by dramatically reducing installation time. Nearly two decades later, In Line Flooring has become the trusted flooring partner for many Hawaii General Contractors, with a relationship-focused approach helping projects finish on time and on budget. Ricky’s leadership has established the company’s cultural foundation, and his commitment to values and relationships continues to through the heart of In Line Flooring.
