Over the last few months, our workplace wellness focus was health and nutrition. In February, we recognized American Heart Month by focusing on cardiovascular health and implementing a Healthy Heart Challenge. A healthy-heart lifestyle is one of the best ways to reduce our risk of heart disease. This challenge encouraged our employees to make small lifestyle changes to their everyday lives, like committing to 30 minutes of physical activity, trying a plant-based meal, enjoying moments of gratitude, or committing to 8 hours of sleep. It was our intent to show how easy it is to eat well, get some exercise, and stay on top of ones health. March is national Nutrition month and this month we challenged our employees to try new things and make healthier food choices. Every Friday our company sought out new restaurants and provided healthy lunches to our employees. We hope they discovered a new favorite and realized how easy it can be to eat healthy.
